Can't avoid auto-parsing with multi-row selection disabled

Previously there was only multi-row selection; I added a toggle for it, but I apparently need to do something on click, like prevent default, or rework how the unfocusing detection works

A demonstration of trying to undo and fix the alignment of part of some tabs:

...I think clicking on the selection (such as might start a drag) is what causes it to unfocus
(with the multiline selection preventing that possibility - but we do want that possibility)
