Authentication

Things we'll have to iron out that aren't necessarily tied to adding the authentication plumbing.

• Students don't have email addresses.
• Do students sign up or is their account created for them?
• Presumably non-students will have an email for password retrieval/notifications?

Because of all the legal things with people who are under 13, we should assume the following:

• Students will have not e-mail addresses associated with their account.
• For now students do not sign up...an account is created for them by a teacher/parent/guardian. Not sure what this means for password retrieval...
• Non students CAN have an email associated with their username. In the past non-students have found it beneficial to get notifications through email.
