Support for windows ARM arquitecture

Is there any prospects of support for the recent snapdragon arm windows machines, like the Microsoft surface 7?

I quickly checked runners and found one https://github.blog/changelog/2025-04-14-windows-arm64-hosted-runners-now-available-in-public-preview/

Last time we discussed that topic, there was no way to build for Windows ARM64.
So, we shall try to do it in the next release then :)

Oh thanks!! I'll let you know. I still have the x86 laptop anyway. But I'm very excited about the arm64 version. I love your free version of Mathematica. My university (in Brazil) didn't renew the subscription, exactly when I really needed it. Then I discovered the WLJS notebook. And I loved it. I am very sorry to say that, but it seems that we can't really fully compile everything to WIN ARM64. Wolfram Engine / Mathematica is x86 only for Windows machines, but it will anyway run in their compatibility mode (we tested it on ARM Windows 11 virtual machine, it works out of the box without any additional steps).

According to the reports, the performance penalty for this is around 20%.

Hi, although I was really looking forward to run WLJS in my new ARM64 labtop, I understand the difficulty. But don't worry, I can still used x86 machines. As I told you, due to my research, I need to plot fractal sets which form a tiling of the plane. This run slowly in my actual machines. I hope, even with the performance penalty, the new processor will do better.

Hi,
It should work 100% if you run WLJS as a server using docker or clone the repo and run Scripts/start.wls

Running it as a server and connecting via browser has some drawbacks: Rasterize, Export["any.pdf"], SystemInputDialog will not work.

But if you install wljs as a desktop application to WLS2, there we don't know. It may work or may not.
