Hi Bill, WLJS files are heavily cached to avoid excessive IO from/to a disk. We can think about how we can disable that for such purposes. However, I've never used Claude Code, would it work better if we add an MCP server to wljs with more granual access? I am just worried, if you work with live notebook files, there might be some large chunks of metadata stored (3D plots and etc), that may eat up lots of tokens. Kirill |

Kirill, I think I appreciate the consideration of token counts as might be associated with multimedia. Maybe there is a way to give access to selected In cells or Out cells, depending. I do not know enough about MCP servers to comment though. Bill

I came across and installed WLJS for the 1st time yesterday. I have been using Claude Code with wls and vsnb files and am interested in using it with WLJS. In the WLJS front end created a cell a=5 and evaluated it. In the source code, an Association, in vs code I changed it to a=6, saved it, then back in the front end I executed the reload and then the force reload commands. I expected the WLJS to show a=6 but it does not. It still shows a=5. I think I need this update behavior to get WLJS to work with Claude Code. Is there a step I have not understood or some way to use Claude Code with WLJS frontend? Thank you, Bill
