Embedded scripting support?

A feature request really, not related to any issue that I'm aware of.

Karaf feature(s) that provides the ability to embed scripts into a Karaf app (JavaScript at a minimum, although I'm sure there are others that would be of interest).

Since Nashorn was removed from the JDK, this is no longer straight forward. I recently tried building a bundle that used the GraalJS library but without success although that may be because I'm not familiar with integrating JPMS modules with OSGi as that seems to be part of the issue.

Apache Sling is providing support for scripting.

JavaScript is supported via Rhino, see Sling's Karaf Features.

Karaf already support scripting (and different languages).
Some commands are actually just alias to execute script.
You can take a look on script file in etc.
