Can support for internal/self-hosted SMTP server be added

First off, thank you for putting the time and effort into creating this, it's great!

I would like to use smtp notifications and my internal network self-hosted SMTP server on port 25. The server doesn't require authentication for private IP addresses. Can this ability be added into the configuration?
