Fluent Bit supports limiting filesystem space for chunks(doc here). this is to control the amount of filesystem chunks are using. it started support from Fluent Bit 1.6 and it can be configured in OutPut section.

Add support storage.total_limit_size for Http plugin ClusterOutput. As of today there is no support the same Ref - https://doc.crds.dev/github.com/fluent/fluent-operator/fluentbit.fluent.io/ClusterOutput/v1alpha2@v2.7.0#spec-http
