How are conflicts handled now?

The readme says that support for choosing how to resolve conflicts is "to do". How is it handled now? Does most recent one win? Thank you.

Hey @JVimes, thanks for the question.
Yes, currently the conflict resolution used in both Play Games and Game Center is "most recently saved" wins.

@gilzoide Do you have any appetite to implement a conflict resolution handling callback, perhaps for a price? I do it for Android using the Google Play Games plugin for Unity, and would like to do it for iOS. In your code, it looks like this requires Objective C, which I don't know and sounds daunting to me right now.

Sure, I can make it happen. Any specific conflict resolution in your mind? Automatic resolution with flags such as those available in GooglePlayGames.BasicApi.SavedGame.ConflictResolutionStrategy or manual resolution where a delegate in C# chooses which save game to keep?

We currently just do manual resolution, where we're given both copies, merge them, and pass the result back.

The Google Play Games API for this callback is kind of over abstracted:

I assume Game Center API has something like that?

Hmm, got it. Manual conflict resolution is trickier than automatic, but it's totally doable.

Something like that, yeah. We have a listener for conflicting save games that should choose / merge them and report back to Game Center using a resolution method that looks a lot like the IConflictResolver.ResolveConflict from GPGS API.
