Plugin register listener permission keep throwing Plugin not found error

I'm trying to expose a plugin listener to the NPM package API to no avail. I keep getting - Msg: Uncaught (in promise) tauri-plugin-admob.register_listener not allowed. Plugin not found from the Tauri app side. The plugin was originally developed when the mobile support is still in alpha, so could be an outdated API being used.

This is what I do.

I tried the variation of underscore and camel-case, same error message.

We use register_listener in build.rs but if that's the issue, the error should be different. Plugin not found should only happen if the plugin isn't in the app's Cargo.toml and/or lib.rs afaik

Hehm, so this must be something else, because the plugin actually works, as in I use it in production to display interstitial ad, and I'm just trying to expose an event that is already emitted by the plugin to the JS client.

Ok, I think it works with the example app. Could be the / character issue, or could be the ReactJS frontend that I'm using on my production app.

I keep getting plugin not found error on my production app:

It uses the same plugin, locally. This is how I load the ad, which not much different from the Svelte code from the example app:
