Hey! We've been building Kunobi, a desktop client for Kubernetes and GitOps management, built with Tauri 2 + Rust backend.
The goal: nicer than Lens, fast as k9s, with better visualization than both.
What it does:
Why Tauri:
We went with Tauri over Electron for the performance — connecting to multiple clusters with large resource sets needs to stay snappy, and the Rust backend lets us do heavy lifting (kubeconfig parsing, multi-cluster streaming, Helm inspection) without shipping a full Chromium runtime.
Available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
