Description
Currently, Editor Camera uses 45 degrees.
Historically, monitors were small, and for content to appear ok, reducing dissonance in perceived image, 45 degrees was a good average FoV based on screen physical sizes and proximity of user to it.
Today, monitors are way larger than lets say 15-20 years ago, which require a larger field of view. So to ensure there is continuity in users perception of 3D spaces, field of view need to somewhat match the degree based on how monitor is viewed in real world. Based on todays common monitor sizes, it would be great to increase these 45 degrees, to something closer to 60, so to ensure it feels ok, it will not look as "window" into 3D, but actual continued 3D.
For that, please add back-end "fov" setting, that will be per user, and add UI to configure that in Editor.
I would suggest to do it "per user" scope, and not per "user-project" scope.
