svxlink won't start #739

Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can help me with this issue. I installed the latest sxvlink on a raspberry pi 3b using svxbuilder, which had the OS (bookworm) and the latest svxlink. I got through most of it OK, but may problem is svxlink won't load. The dashboard seems to work OK and is a nice feature, but I'm trying to get svxlink to run on my pi. When I try to launch it, it hangs and bails, saying *** ERROR: No logics available. Bailing out. . . Seems it can't load the SimplexLogic module, and the problem seems to me to be in the configuration variable DTMF_CTRL_PTY. AT this point I am completely lost on what to do next. Thanks in advance for any help on this.
