Companion apps

Hello,
I am in the process of trying to add a security layer on top of my self-hosted setup and Tinyauth seems amazingly simple (as compared for instance to Authelia, which I have eventually given up installing). But I was wondering whether there is a way for the companion apps to keep on working with Tinyauth. For instance I have Vaultwarden or Immich installed (I think most self-hosters have at least one of them). How do the Android apps behave when Tinyauth is in place ? Is there a way to have them coexist or does it defeat the same simplicity principle that Tinyauth is based on ?

Unfortunately there is not much you can do. Since Tinyauth sits in the middle and issues a redirect in order to login, the client has to acknowledge that and allow the redirect. Some clients are smart enough to do this while some others don't support it. This is not only the case with Tinyauth but with all middlewares.
