tauri android dev command does not show rust logs

I would like to reopen this issue #853

I have the same problem. Almost impossible to develop something if you can't have the most basic log working.

This doesn't seem to be a general issue. Please give us something to work with, like the output of tauri info and how you're trying to log something for a start.

I have the tauri log plugin
use tauri_plugin_log::log::{error, info};
setup up it
.plugin(tauri_plugin_log::Builder::new().build())
and just use it
info!("File {} uploaded successfully", object_key);

What I found out is that when using the front end package manager ( Bun in my case) there are no logs, but if I use cargo then the logs are displayed in the console.
so
bun run tauri android dev -> no logs
cargo tauri android dev -> logs are displayed
