I’d like to propose adding an AI-powered Pull Request reviewer, such as Coderabbit, to our workflow.
The goal is to automate early-stage PR feedback and make reviews more efficient and consistent.⚠️ Identify potential breaking changes
Here’s what an AI reviewer like Coderabbit could help us with:
• 🧩 Detect missing or unclear PR descriptions
•
• 🧱 Ensure PRs follow our template and contribution guidelines
• 📄 Suggest improvements to readability, documentation, and structure
This wouldn’t replace human reviewers — it would act as a smart assistant, handling repetitive checks and freeing maintainers to focus on important design and logic discussions.
We could start small by integrating Coderabbit via GitHub App or GitHub Actions:
it automatically reviews each new PR, analyzes diffs, and leaves comments directly in the discussion thread.
If it performs well, we can refine the configuration to align with our style and standards.
It could save a lot of review time and ensure a consistent level of PR quality across all contributors.
