Display settings completely broken? Monitor also bugs out?

Hi all. I screwed around with BetterDisplay for fun, wanting to get a resolution with a thicker bezel-lookalike. At this time, I also picked up a Cinema Display hoping to use it. Connecting it to my Mac, my computer started to lag and the LED Cinema Display glitched on and off on the display menu rapidly. The default resolution is also screwed up, showing the default as the "more space" option. Option 4 brings it to the smallest it can go. Option 3 places the screen with smaller text. Option 2 is ditto but with the thick-border look I was going for, and option 1 is thick border but smaller.

I also tried this on another M series Mac with no display settings changed, and it worked okay. I'm thinking BetterDisplay had something to do with this. Any help? Thanks.

I am not sure about this one, but you can reset all display subsystem related stuff with this (note: requires reboot):
