App crashing on MacOS Version 26.1 Force quit and open deactivates the license

Hello,

The app is keep crashing and hangs, I had to Force Quit from the Acitivity Monitor and then open it. Everytime it crash it looses the license and activation. I have to install my license key again.

Hmm. Which features are you using? Do you have this issue with the current stable 4.1.0 version or older versions or only this internal pre-release has this problem?

This is my new laptop installed the latest available release 4.1.1 and I have a Samsung Neo G9 57 inch monitor. I am using Virtual Screens as main requirement for me.

And another issue I am noticing when my laptop wakes up from sleep the virtual screen starts to flicker very badly. I had to turnoff the virtual screen and turn on to fix the flicker.

Yeah, sadly the virtual screen mirroring method is not the best, especially with very high resolutions. The flickering issue is a longstanding macOS bug: #261

@waydabber Okay I understand about the screen flicker. But how about this loosing license behavior. It's very consistent.
Here is what happens,
BetterDisplay is running fine. For some reason I want to quit the app, I got and click the Quit button on the app. I watch the Activity Monitor, in a few seconds the app completely closes off.

Then again I start the app, now the app doesn't launch. When I see the activity monitor I see it's running there but it doesn't launch. At this point I quit the app from activity monitor then launch again start it works. Now I loose the license.

Can you check this and move this to an issue.
