Well, there is a DDC Factory Reset option in the Device Control (DDC) menu, maybe that works. But it might be that the OSD joystick is just broken or has an unrelated hardware failure, as normally sending DDC controls should not interfere with a display's joystick control. |

Posting here because im helpless rn, I have an MSI AG321CR monitor and I use it with a MacBook Pro M4.
Sometimes the monitor would not turn back on after the Mac went to sleep. To work around that, I installed the BetterDisplay app and tried a few settings just to see if it helped.
After that, the monitor’s nav joystick started acting weird. When I press the joystick, the OSD menu opens, but I cannot navigate inside it. If I try to move the joystick in any direction, the screen goes black for a second and then comes back. The menu is still there, but no movement works.
This is happening even when BetterDisplay is not running. also with windows PC. The monitor is basically stuck with an unusable OSD.
Has anyone seen this before or knows how to fully reset the monitor settings? Is there a way to revert whatever might have changed through DDC or software control?
Any help would be appreciated.
