Syncing Keyboard Backlight with Screen Brightness

Does anybody know a way to sync keyboard backlight with screen brightness?

I would like to turn off keyboard backlight entirely when the display is below a certain brightness level. Yes, there are ways to automatically adjust the backlight or turn it off after a period of inactivity, but it's generally quite useful to have it on. Keyboard backlight becomes brighter than the display when watching videos at night and it would be really nice to be able to sync both.
