Download Station Extension for Chrome Browser

Adapted from the original work done by LuukD

New version DownloadStation_Chrome_Extension version 4.x.x is Chrome manifest 3 compatible.

• Updated to Chrome manifest 3.
• Changed to show the 100 newest downloads (instead of the 100 oldest in the previous versions).
• Changed progressbar for finished downloads to grey.
• Added check if newer version available (runs when extension loaded and once every 24 hours).
• Shows in options if there's a newer available from GitHub and provides a link to it.
• Added buymecoffee and PayPal donate buttons for those who want to support me.

How to install the extension

1. Download the latest version 4 or later DownloadStation_Chrome_Extension.zip file.
2. Unpack the DownloadStation_Chrome_Extension.zip archive. Remember the location of the "Synology_Download_Station" folder.
3. Open the Extensions page by either:
   • Type chrome://extensions in chrome's address bar, or
   • Click on the extensions icon > Manage Extensions, or
   • Use the menu: ⋮ > Extensions > Manage Extensions.
4. Enable "Developer Mode" on the top right.
5. Select "Load unpacked" option.
6. Find the unpacked extension's folder "Synology_Download_Station".
7. Open the folder.
8. Pin the extension to Chrome's toolbar by clicking on the Details button then "Pin to toolbar".
