This PR adds a small cookbook example showing how to compute time-distance (decay-weighted) rolling aggregations using existing pandas functionality, including handling irregular and duplicate timestamps.
Apologies for the churn earlier , I closed PR #63884 after main moved significantly and the diff became noisy, and have deleted that branch. This is a fresh, minimal PR based on current main.
