BorgBackup is Free and Open Source Software - a deduplicating archiver with compression and encryption.

A FOSS project like BorgBackup is a lot of work.

We need contributors developing the software, adding new features, debugging issues and fixing bugs, updating and improving the docs, improving the test suite, platform testing, making new releases.

Some of this is fun and exciting (usually working on a new feature), but some of this is also more or less boring administrative work. Thus, some contributions come in for free and some should be paid for.

Funding helps us with long-term sustainability of the project.
